Boris was my 7.5 year old Brown Tabby cat. Unfortunately, he had several health problems in his short life. When I first got him from Animal Aide, he came to me with a huge infestation of fleas and an eye infection. That cost several hundred dollars to clear up, but I had grown attached to him by then. When he was about 5 years old, he was diagnosed with Feline Diabetes. We were able to control it with diet and insulin shots twice a day, and that wasn't much of a problem. Since then, he'd been "cured" of his diabetes by losing weight - the vet thought his diabetes was type II, which is weight-related. Sadly, he later developed IBD (Irritable Bowel Disorder) and a bacterial infection in his colon. I use to jokingly call him my $5,000 kitty, but it's true - he cost me a fortune over the years.
One of the biggest reasons I set up my website was to help pay for his vet bills. Before he died, at the end of last year, his treatments totaled a whopping $4,000. All of the items on this page are items that were either made by my friends to help pay his vet bills, or are made from components my friends have sent me. Boris was a sweet little boy, and he will be missed.

Lovely lime green turquoise and purple seed beads woven together. Bracelet is made for a smaller wrist at just under 6.5" long. Has a gold magnetic clasp, so it should be easy on and off. My friend, Jeweler John makes these for fairs and Saturday markets and such. Indian Heads are about 1", and the Buffaloes are slightly shorter. (I have 2 pairs of these)

  Click on picture for larger view. Cameo Necklace With Matching Earrings Set I wanted to go for something totally different in a cameo necklace. This is more "goth" than anything, I would think - the lines are not soft, like they would be for a cameo necklace because it is made with 6mm cube beads, silver spacers and black bicones. The cameo is 2", and I believe it's acrylic. It was given to me, so I'm not sure. Necklace is 17" long with a silver toggle clasp, and the matching black cube earrings are 1" long.

I decided she needed something named after her. What I am offering is a 12mm glass pendant with two 10mm black/white squares, white, black and black/white seed beads. 17" long with a silver toggle clasp. Too bad I can't get a picture of her wearing it! I don't think that would go over very well, though.

Cobalt Blue Necklace with Matching Earrings I decided this lovely pendant needed some spicing up, so I used 8mm clear cube beads and 4mm cobalt blue Swarovski crystals. There are a total of 50 Swarovski crystals between the necklace and matching earrings! Necklace is 18" long with a lobster claw clasp, and earrings are 2" long.
